Fishing Access Sites
The maps below are being offered for free because much of the labeling
for the features has been automatically generated by mapping software
and has not been deliberately placed by a cartographer.
What makes these maps special, compared to other popular map atlases
of Vermont, is the use of the official town highway number along
with the street name for easier cross referencing with the Vermont
Town Highway Maps. This map series also includes all the "ancient
roads" that have been added to the Vermont Town Highway Maps.
Another feature that distinguishes this map series is the inclusion of Lake Champlain lake depth information
These maps can be used for finding public lake access locations as well as exploring Vermont's backroads.
Abbreviations after the filename indicate the presence of a fishing access site, scenic road, or ancient road in the town.
F = Fish Access Site
S = Scenic Road
A = Ancient Road
